Thread subscriptions are used to track new posts in threads of interest. You can identify them using your User Control Panel (http://forums.macrumors.com/usercp.php), with email notifications, in the New Posts (http://forums.macrumors.com/search.php?do=getnew) display, and/or in the Forum Spy (http://spy.macrumors.com/).

How to subscribe to a thread
While viewing a thread, choose Subscribe to this Thread from the Thread Tools drop-down menu. Specify whether and how you are to be notified when new posts are made in that thread:
