Hippy chic: Pixie Lott ignored the freezing rain and wore a tiny paisley crop top and matching hotpants to perform at the Isle Of Wight festival today
It was an outfit more suited to a hippy gathering in sunny San Francisco - but Pixie Lott disregarded the rainy delights of a soggy British summer to wear a psychedelic hotpants and crop top combo at the Isle Of Wight festival today.
The Cry Me Out singer got a soaking as she tried to cheer up the bedraggled crowd in her skimpy paisley print outfit, but according to Mail Online reporters joining the audience in mud and pouring rain, she wasn't having much luck.
She'd accessorised her festival chic outfit with the obligatory wellies and a a flower-strewn hairband - but a mackintosh might have been more suitable.
Cheeky: The Cry Me Out singer tried her best to cheer up the cold and soaking crowd with her bottom-skimming flower power style and hippy make-up
The stoic 20-year-old star made a valiant effort however to put a smile on people's faces, despite the fact she must have been freezing.
c'mon boys and girls! The star really appeared to be giving it her all to get the audience engaged and take their minds off the weather
As well as her own hits like Mama Do, Boys And Girls and Turn It Up, she peppered her set with cover versions, including her take on Adele's Someone Like You, Katy B's Lights On, Chris Brown's Beautiful People and Aloe Blacc's I Need A Dollar.
However, on top of the atrocious weather, her set was plagued by sound problems, meaning half the soaked audience weren't able to hear her properly.
Tough gig: The singer made a hand gesture at one point however that almost seemed like she was thumbing a lift home
Turn it up! The crowd looked like they were too cold and wet to get into Pixie's poptastic set - and sound problems didn't help
As already reported by Mail Online, Kate Moss is having her hen do at three day bash with a 'Big Fat Gypsy Wedding' theme, as revealed by festival organiser John Giddings.
To celebrate her forthcoming nuptials to The Kills Jamie Hince next month, she and her 30 odd revellers - including Jade Jagger, Meg Mathews and Sadie Frost - are said to have downed 120 bottles of Mahiki rum.
They were said to have ordered another 180 botles which were being helicoptered in, and they also polished off magnums of Cristal champagne, plus bottles of Tanqueray gin and Grey Goose vodka.
Grim: After two days of good weather, conditions took a turn for the worse today
Muddy brilliant: Some revellers were still determined to have a good time however
This year's headliners are Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters and Kasabian.
Day one saw Kings Of Leon and Kaiser Chiefs, whereas yesterday saw Seasick Steve, Iggy and the Stooges, Stornoway, Lissie, Mike and the Mechanics, Hurts, before Foo Fighters and Pulp topped the bill.
Kasabian will round off the bash today after the likes of Beady Eye, The Script, Plan B and special guest Jeff Beck have strutted their stuff on stage.
Although the weather had been good for the first two days of the festival, the site has been plagued by heavy rain today.
Many revellers have decided to make the most of the conditions however and play around in the mud.
