Barcelona's Lionel Messi slams home his mesmerising second goal against Real Zaragoza
One hat-trick in two league games just isn’t enough for some people.
Not when you’re Lionel Messi.
The Argentinian wizard smashed three goals past Valencia last weekend and he was at it again on Sunday, scoring three in Barcelona’s 4-2 win over Real Zaragoza — including this incredible second.
He wrestled the ball off the Zaragoza midfield on the halfway line, jigged past the first defender, turned the second inside out on the edge of the box and then fired a left-foot shot into the bottom right-hand corner.
Messi's super-strike was reminiscent of Samir Nasri's magical goal against Porto
‘Put in the superlatives yourselves, I’m running out,’ said Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola.
Arsenal beware.
