Best Buddy: Britain's Got Talent sensation Pippa Langhorne wowed the judges and audience with her singing - and that of her dog
She charmed both the judges and audience on Britain's Got Talent with her opera-singing duet with dog Buddy.
But now Pippa Langhorne has revealed that her beloved pooch Buddy - who was seen with her on Saturday night's show howling along with her rendition of Pie Jesu - might not be a part of her future career if she wins the ITV1 show.
The 20-year-old former model, from Worcester, said she had plans to drop the six-month-old lhasa apso from her act if her career took off, to allow her to record a solo album.
Left out: Buddy, a six-month old llasa apso, may be left on the sidelines if Pippa wins the series
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday Pippa said, 'I don't see my career with Buddy really. I see myself going solo. I would love to get a recording contract and release an album.
'I want to do a classical music album with a modern sound,' she added, 'I want to bring it into the 21st Century with a more pop or dance sound.
However she said that Buddy would not be left out entirely.
'He could always make a guest appearance,' Pippa suggested. 'But I don't think singing will be a career for him. At the end of the day he's a dog and I want him to have a dog's life.'
Picky pooch: Pippa said that Buddy could make a guest appearance if she had a successful career - but added that he did not like pop music
Popular act: The pair - who performed under the name Pip and Puppy - received a standing ovation at the Birmingham auditions
