An extended look at Horikita Maki’s “back nude” scene from “Byakuyako”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipuRF6n27cMendofvid

[starttext]

Japanese movie news site eiga.com has released a small clip of the upcoming movie, “Byakuyako” (“Into the White Night”), which features lead actress Horikita Maki in three completely different scenes.

The movie is based on a best-selling novel by Higashino Keigo, which already had a drama adaptation aired back in 2006. ’Yukiho’ (Horikita) is a very beautiful woman who does not hesitate to trick others into great misfortune, starting with an unsolved case of murder that happened during her childhood.

The first two scenes in the clip are of Horikita as a school girl and as a grown-up woman, both of which are uninteresting compared to the third scene, which is a slightly-extended version of her infamous “back nude” scene (as hinted in an earlier trailer).

For this scene, Yukiho seen is taking off her white nightgown, offering the audience a great look at her beautiful pure white back. Afterwards, she gets on the bed and forcefully presses down on ‘Shinozuka Mika’ (Koike Ayame), the daughter of her second husband. The short clip ends with some pseudo-caressing by Yukiho.

In the novel, that scene could easily be described as a rape, so it will be interesting to see how far they will be going for the moments between taking off her nightgown and the caress. The generous exposure of the back alone is already getting interpreted as a big challenge, and a huge change for the “pure” actress Horikita. We’ve reported earlier about the possibility of additional controversial scenes that would be included in the movie, but we’ll see if they make it to the final cut.

Check out the clip below. The aforementioned scene starts around 0:53!

Tamaki Nami + Choshinsei releases preview of “TTL/Time To Love”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJbVy7cQAZQendofvid

[starttext]

Singer Tamaki Nami will be releasing her new single “Missing You~Time To Love~” on January 12th. The song will be a cover of K-pop’s ”TTL/Time To Love“, which was a collaboration piece between Choshinsei (Supernova) and T-ara.

According to Sanspo, Tamaki is a fan of K-pop, and so decided to cover a Korean song for her next release. Her choice fell upon “TTL”, which was a big hit in Korea last year, and is also a personal favorite of hers (so much so that she uses the song as her ringtone!).

Since both Tamaki and Choshinsei belong to the same label, she approached the boys to work with her for a collaboration. Members Kwangsu, Jihyuk, and Geonil have agreed to participate in her cover, and will also rap in Japanese.

We reported previously that pop singer Kuroki Meisa was going to challenge flamenco dance for an NHK special, “Kuroki Meisa Spain Flamenco ~Tamashii no Odori to Deau Tabi~.” Recently, the singer has released a video of her taking flamenco dance lessons with the famous dancer, Antonio El Pipa.

Her lessons were all taught to her in Spanish through the help of a Japanese translator. The video shows Meisa working in a Spanish dance studio perfecting the moves with her instructor. Although she has had previous dance experience, this was her first time dancing in the flamenco style. To celebrate the release of her second single, “Jin Jin Jingle Bell feat. Pentaphonic“, on November 24th, model/actress Sasaki Nozomi held a ‘talk & handshake event’ at Tower Records Shinjuku on the same day. As we reported earlier, this song is a cover of Moritaka Chisato’s “Jin Jin Jingle Bell” from 1995.

Unfortunately for the 500 fans who attended the event, she did not perform the song; instead, Sasaki requested that they have fun singing the song themselves during Karaoke.

When reporters asked if she would like to perform on a music show in the future, Sasaki replied that it was already too much for her to sing a small PR-event. “I’m so nervous that I can’t sing,” she said. “Doing a live performance is still a bit…”
